When29-30 May 2022 (UAP at 0117Z on 30 May)
WhereEastern Mediterranean off Syria (aircraft at MGRS 36S XD; UAP first seen 37S BV 28..)

A 50th Attack Squadron ISR aircraft was collecting imagery over the eastern Mediterranean off Syria. At 0117Z on 30 May 2022, at FL240, it saw "one possible small UAP" flying north to north-east. The crew followed it as long as possible, and the screener could not identify it. The same report logs Russian activity: at 2147Z the evening before, 1-3 aircraft including a possible Russian Su-30 came within about 5 nm and flew under the orbit. It also logs Su-27/35 movements at a nearby airfield. The report does not connect the UAP to any of this activity. DOW-UAP-PR21 is a byte-identical copy of the PDF. The wording of the UAP entry is the same as D12, ten days earlier. *Method note: war.gov blocks this server. Each mission report was read from the original PDF served by the ufotransparency.com mirror. Quotations come from the PDF text layer and were checked against the page images where the scan is poor. Redactions are shown as [redacted]. Field names such as "Observer Assessment of UAP" are the form's own labels.*

Plausibility weighs how well an account fits where secrecy hides the documents by design, so missing records never count against it. Strength measures what is documented. Assessed 2026-10-23.
