This is a 3 min 57 s infrared clip from a U.S. military platform in the EUCOM area, August 2022, uploaded in June 2024. The uploader titled it "Spherical UAP Erratic movement". AARO's description says the footage was digitally altered before upload, and that in the first 45 seconds the "digital alterations significantly influence its apparent performance characteristics". After a cut at 00:46, the sensor tracks a contrast that drifts in and out of frame. *Method note: war.gov blocks this server, and the video itself was not viewed. Everything here comes from the official war.gov description, as reproduced and summarised on the ufotransparency.com mirror page. Release 02 states that on 6 March 2026 eight members of the House asked for 51 potentially UAP-related records. AARO found the responsive material on a classified network, and many items "lack a substantiated chain-of-custody". The quoted titles are uploader-defined, not AARO's, and AARO describes its descriptions as informational only, not analytical judgments. No DVIDS copy of the Release 02 videos was found.*

Plausibility weighs how well an account fits where secrecy hides the documents by design, so missing records never count against it. Strength measures what is documented. Assessed 2026-10-23.

On the record

  • AARO assesses the video is likely derived from an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform operating in the EUCOM area of responsibility in August 2022. (DOW-UAP-PR054, official description as summarised by the mirror)
  • A user uploaded the video to a classified network in June 2024; its uploader-defined title is "Spherical UAP Erratic movement [CALLSIGN] (Mission) 2022." (DOW-UAP-PR054, official description as summarised by the mirror)
  • The video runs 00:03:57 and was digitally altered prior to upload, presented as received. (DOW-UAP-PR054, official description as summarised by the mirror)
  • In the 00:00-00:45 segment, the sensor pans to track a central area of contrast, and digital alterations significantly influence its apparent performance characteristics. (DOW-UAP-PR054, official description as summarised by the mirror)
  • At 00:46 the video appears to cut and refocus on a central area of contrast that intermittently passes in and out of frame as the sensor tracks it. (DOW-UAP-PR054, official description as summarised by the mirror)
