Landing, entity and jet search grids at Versailles, Missouri

- A landing, an entity and ground traces measured by investigators.
- Jets flew search grids afterward and the investigators saw lights themselves.
On 25 October 2009 at Versailles, Missouri, an upright triangular craft with seven spinning orange "saucer" lights is said to have landed in woods near a house, and a being about five feet tall in black-and-white striped clothing stood about 50 yards away. Investigators found a bare patch, broken trees and a compass off by 40 degrees, and took soil samples. In the following days military jets flew search grids and dropped flares and helicopters circled; the investigators themselves saw lights on 28 October. BAASS's November 2009 report to DIA classes it "Unknown UAV, Entity, and Landing Sight. CAT. 3".
