EU Parliament question E-000314/2024 and answer: UAP reported as 'Unknown Airborne Objects'
Asked by MEP Francisco Guerreiro. Commissioner Vălean answered on 11 April 2024 that "UAPs or any other unidentified object that may represent a risk for safety of the civil operations are reported as 'Unknown Airborne Objects'... stored in the central repository... and analysed for safety purposes." A year later De Masi pointed out that no such category exists in the EU occurrence system, ECCAIRS 2.
