EU Parliament question E-001572/2025: UAP and the EU Space Act
Fabio De Masi, 17 April 2025, citing a 2023 Commission letter sent on behalf of President von der Leyen that acknowledged better near-Earth detection matters "partly to better identify UAP". Commissioner Kubilius answered on 11 June 2025: "Unidentified anomalous phenomena are not part of the scope of the ongoing work on the EU Space Act", though space surveillance and tracking is being strengthened.
