Harold E. Holt station (North West Cape)
US Navy communications station at North West Cape, Western Australia. A 1991 agreement began the handover; the US Naval Security Group left in October 1992 and command passed to the RAN. STS-48's 1991 event, near the west coast of Australia, fell in its last year of full US control.
