Ordered to fire

For sixty years air forces in nine countries on our record chased these objects, and some were ordered to shoot. Until 2023 the jets could not close, the guns would not bear or the weapons failed. Then the shooting began to work: Lake Huron, a Chinese "prepare to shoot" notice, the White Sands lure.

The claim, in UAP Trail’s words

“Until 2023, every attempt on our record to engage one of these objects failed; since then, objects are being brought down.”

The chase

This branch rests on: on the record
Air forces scramble at radar contacts and lights: the default response since 1948.
What it held. Pilots get close, sometimes lock on, and the object outruns or outclimbs them.

How to read it

The trunk is the chase, the default response. The order branch forks off where commanders authorise weapons; from it come the failures (Tehran, La Joya) and, from 2023, the shoot-downs. The losses branch is loose because its two cases are the weakest here.
