Apollo 12: lights 'escaping the Moon' and the tracking-light puzzle

In their own words
“particles of light, flashes of light just seem to come from... behind me... and they're just sailing off in space... it looks like some of those things are escaping the Moon. They really haul out of here and just press off at the stars.”
On the Apollo 12 transcript released by war.gov (NASA-UAP-D001), Alan Bean at 05:19:27:25: 'particles of light, flashes of light just seem to come from... behind me... and they're just sailing off in space... it looks like some of those things are escaping the Moon. They really haul out of here and just press off at the stars.' At 06:00:21:51 Conrad says the LM tracking light must have burned out because the 'bits and pieces floating along with us' stopped lighting up and Gordon couldn't find them in his sextant; Houston replied that the light's current showed it was on. The excerpt ends unresolved.
