On 18 July 1948 Sweden's Supreme Commander, Gen. Helge Jung, saw a projectile about two metres long curve down and hit the water near his summer house; he saw another from his sailboat three weeks later. He raised it with the Prime Minister and the Crown Prince, and the Navy's salvage ship Belos dived in the bay for weeks 'by special order', finding at most a hole in the bottom. His diary and the ship's logs are in the War Archives.
