Rendlesham Forest

Over three nights in December 1980, US airmen at a NATO base in England followed lights into Rendlesham Forest, and the deputy base commander, Lt. Col. Charles Halt, recorded what he saw on tape and in an official memo; no accepted explanation exists.
U.S. Air Force personnel at a NATO base in Suffolk followed lights into Rendlesham Forest. Staff Sergeant Jim Penniston says he walked up to a small triangular craft covered in symbols and touched it. Two nights later the deputy base commander, Lt. Col. Charles Halt, led a team into the woods and recorded audio as beams of light came down near the base's weapons storage area.
