BAASS Utah Ranch Investigation Report (April 2010)
BAASS's 60-page report on two deployments of its 'Utah Task Force' around Fort Duchesne and Bottle Hollow in March and April 2010, delivered under the DIA's AAWSAP contract. More than 25 local people, among them police officers, Ute tribal members and a wildlife official, gave firsthand accounts of a bipedal wolf-like creature, red and blue orbs and a rippling 'portal'. Fur from a fence came back as dog and raccoon, a result that covers only that sample, and an unexplained pair of signals near 1.2 GHz was logged on the mesa. The report reaches no conclusion.

Overview
- Witnesses: 25+ locals with firsthand encounters, including 4 police officers and 11 Native Americans; 11 independent witnesses to the same bipedal creature.
- Physical results: fur from one fence was dog and raccoon; two unexplained signals at 1.21 and 1.235 GHz.
- Whose ranch: the ranch is labelled with the same code as the BAASS Administrator (inference: Bigelow's Skinwalker Ranch).
On the record
- DOW-UAP-D174, 60 pages, April 2010; the war.gov slideshow includes its creature-sighting map.
- Aims included magnetic, EM, radiation and soil sensors, transgenic biosensor plants, and 'games, puzzles, and other strategies in order to establish communication with the source/origin of reported anomalies'.
- The BAASS team logged no observations of its own on these two trips.
Open questions
- What were the 1.21 and 1.235 GHz signals, and did any agency transmit there that night?
- Did the biosensor plants and game cameras ever produce results?
