Germany's first Bundestag question on UAP, and the government's answer (2026)
The first Kleine Anfrage on UAP in the German Bundestag (Drs. 21/8323), asked by 15 AfD members led by Lars Haise and Wolfgang Wiehle, and the defence ministry's answer of 16 October 2026 (Drs. 21/8662). The government says it has no knowledge of UAP, no reporting channels and no cross-ministry structure, and will not give details of its exchanges with allies. The same government classifies its counts of unidentified drone overflights of Bundeswehr sites as too sensitive even for the Bundestag's secret registry.
