EU Parliament question E-002266/2025: UAP are a matter for member states
Fabio De Masi, 5 June 2025: the US, Japan and China treat UAP as flight safety and national security; does the Commission think a coordinated European investigation is warranted? Commissioner Kubilius answered on 13 August 2025: "The area of unidentified aerial phenomenon (UAP) is considered a competence of the Member States, allowing them to address these phenomena according to the national security needs.
