GEIPAN
France's official UAP office inside the national space agency CNES, the only state-funded office of its kind in the EU. Of more than 3,300 cases since 1977, 106 remain unexplained after full analysis (class D) and 1,014 are unresolved for lack of data (class C). Director Frédéric Courtade's office was invited to the French National Assembly's first public UAP colloquium on 29 June 2026, organised by deputies Arnaud Saint-Martin and Pierre Henriet.
