Edward Teller

Hungarian-American physicist, father of the hydrogen bomb and co-founder of Lawrence Livermore. He took part in the February 1949 Los Alamos conference on the green fireballs, and championed the nuclear-pumped X-ray laser (Excalibur) behind Reagan's Strategic Defense Initiative. John Herrington says Teller showed him a thumbnail-size lens for it. Bob Lazar says Teller helped him get his job; filmed later, Teller would not say whether he knew Lazar.
