UFOs in the Private Sector - Battelle Memorial Institute
Gerb's first contractor video. He lays out Battelle's documented UFO work for the Air Force (Project STORK and Special Report 14, with Howard Cross's 1953 memo about 'reassuring the public'), then the 1949 Battelle titanium-alloy reports for Wright-Patterson that he ties to Roswell's 'memory metal'. The strongest thread is E.J. Center: named in a 1949 report released in 2010, and named in a 1994 MUFON informant account as having studied saucer parts at Battelle.
On the record
- Project STORK, the Cross memo and Special Report 14.
- The 1949 titanium-alloy progress reports naming E.J. Center.
Open questions
- Confirm the 2010 release date and contract number of the 1949 reports.
Leads to follow
- Irena Scott's 1994 Ohio UFO Notebook article.
- The seven STORK status reports (CUFON).
