Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC)
The Air Force's research, development, test and logistics command at Wright-Patterson, formed in 1992 and descended from the Air Materiel Command that handled the 1947 Roswell debris and from ARDC. It parents AFRL, the Edwards test center and AFLCMC, which contracts MITRE's defense FFRDC. A 1947 Paperclip request shows Air Materiel Command seeking German experts for an underground plant program. UAP Gerb places AFMC's centers at the top of his 'hidden wing' test program.
