United States Air Force
  • On the record: SAF/AQ, SAF/AAH and SAF/AAZ run Air Force special programs; an official history confirms 'outside activities' under SAF/AA from Aldridge's day.
  • The claims: Mellon's anonymous contact on a 1950s secretary's memo and an SCES-2 gatekeeper; 'Ed' on a waived test program at Edwards.
  • Gerb's view: a 'hidden wing' across the Western ranges; the gatekeeper names are his inferences.

The service behind AFRL, NASIC and the old UFO projects. Two people in the story wore its uniform: retired Maj. Gen. Neil McCasland, missing since Feb 2026, and intelligence officer Matthew Sullivan, who died in 2024 and whom Grusch calls one of his sources. Its official position, from Blue Book to the 1990s Roswell reports, is that it holds no alien craft.

On the record

  • McCasland retired 1 Oct 2013 after commanding AFRL.
  • Sullivan obituary: USAF intelligence officer, NASIC, NSA, Bronze Star; buried at Quantico.
  • Per ME records reported by the NY Post, Sullivan died of a mix of alcohol and prescription drugs; the headline says accidental.
  • Blue Book closed in Dec 1969 after the Condon report.

At Edwards in 2006-10 he headed an electronic-warfare test group, the go-between for engineers and test pilots 'when they had a man craft they were testing'; in 2008 he was part of an Air Force plan to go public, killed in 2009-10 by a two-star general; at the Pentagon in 2010-15 he saw '$34 billion then $40 billion' moved to non-Air Force authority. He would testify to AARO only if Kirkpatrick were removed.UAP Reverse Engineering at Edwards Air Force Base [Redacted List Vol.2]anonymousLeadSteven Greer
A physicist told Stringfield of 'Project Blue Heaven' at Edwards in the late 1960s and early 1970s: a landed 40 ft domed saucer kept in a hangar and its crew of small beings in metallic suits, who lay down and went inert; still active in 1990, with two or three similar Navy projects. He later cut the number of beings from 12 to 4.UAP Reverse Engineering at Edwards Air Force Base [Redacted List Vol.2]anonymousLeadLeonard Stringfield (Status Report VI, 1991)
