Philip J. Corso - US Army UFO Technology Research & Development
Gerb sets aside The Day After Roswell and works from Philip Corso's own longer manuscript, Dawn of a New Age, alongside Corso's documented service record. Corso's firsthand claims include seeing a non-human body at Fort Riley in July 1947, inheriting a "Roswell file" from Gen. Arthur Trudeau, seeding recovered technology to industry through the Army Foreign Technology Division from 1960 to 1963, and meeting a being at White Sands in 1957-58. Gerb's point is that this Army division is distinct from the Air Force FTD and left almost no record; his view that it was the first structured legacy program, seeded through firms like Bell Labs, Sperry Rand and MITRE, is his own reasoning.
