Central Intelligence Agency
  • On the record: DS&T (1963) and its Office of Global Access (2003); a 1982 memo on steering contractor IRAD to DS&T; Grusch has named OGA in retrievals.
  • The claims: Sharp's anonymous sources on DS&T, DO and OGA retrievals; Gerb's sources on a DS&T-run cavern under the Pentagon.

The CIA turns up on the string from the very beginning. In 1953 it convened the Robertson Panel, which recommended debunking UFOs and watching civilian groups. From 1972 it funded the remote viewing experiments at SRI with Ingo Swann and Pat Price. In 1995 it took over Stargate, commissioned the review that ended it, and announced the program's existence. Thousands of its UFO and psychic documents are now public, and CIA records were part of the 2026 war.gov/ufo releases. Former CIA officers like Jim Semivan (To The Stars) and Kit Green have become key voices.

  • The Robertson Panel (1953) and its recommendations.
  • CIA funding of SRI remote viewing research (1972 onward) and the 1995 termination of Stargate.
  • CIA documents in the 2026 PURSUE releases.
