The legacy program

UAP Gerb's central story: from 1947 one national effort, modelled on the Manhattan Project and run by a control group hidden inside the NSC's covert-action chain, recovered and studied non-human craft.

In 60 seconds

  • One program, many branches: a single 1947 national effort that split at dated turning points into military, intelligence and contractor branches.
  • Hung on the record: laws, NSC directives, executive orders and SAP oversight memos mark the forks.
  • Graded throughout: each event is marked on the record, named witness, unnamed insiders or Gerb's own reasoning.

The claim, in the narrator’s words (12:58)

“Legacy programs are defined as the once national effort, now severely siloed and compartmented covert activity structure that's tasked with the retrieval, storage, exploitation, derivation, and reverse engineering of nonhuman technical vehicles and their occasional biological occupants.”

The golden age

One national effort with one mission, run from inside the NSC. Manhattan Project 2.0 (1947-54), then the R&D boom of 1958-63.

“The most highly classified subject in the United States government, rating higher even than the H-bomb.”

The Cold War reorganization

Carter's 1978 order forces NSC review, so the programs scatter into cover programs, FFRDCs and the Air Force. SDI money, Yellow Fruit, the 'Last Supper' mergers.

“Several craft recovered at Roswell and White Sands in May-July 1947; custody vested in civilian hands by classified order in 1948.”

The modern era

Control passes to a committee of 27; the primes break away on their own money; silos so tight that 40 to 50 people see across them. Perhaps a disclosure era from 2023. Grusch says the Air Force's share runs as the 'night job' of a NASIC analyst.

“Coordinated programs for the retrieval, storage, exploitation and derivation of non-human technical vehicles, backed by 40+ firsthand witnesses.”
