After 23 years, Congress moved the remote viewing program to the CIA, which commissioned an outside review by the American Institutes for Research. Statistician Jessica Utts concluded the effect was real and statistically significant; psychologist Ray Hyman disagreed. The CIA declared it had never been useful in an actual intelligence operation and ended the program. Its existence was announced on ABC's Nightline in November 1995. Believers note that the official ending came just as the research was strongest, and many suspect the work simply moved somewhere less visible.

In The picture

The pictureIt isn’t just hardware. AAWSAP at Skinwalker Ranch, Stargate’s remote viewers, Swann’s Moon sessions, Nolan’s study of injured witnesses and the medical cases BAASS followed with blood work and scans all tie the phenomenon to the mind and the body. Insiders seem to have treated consciousness as part of the technology.
Mind is part of the machineThe CIA paid for remote viewing at SRI, and its own review found the effect 'well established'. In 1973 Swann 'visited' Jupiter and described a ring that Voyager confirmed six years later.
