Kona Blue (DHS prospective SAP, 2011)

Kona Blue (DHS prospective SAP, 2011)
  • On the record: a real 2011 DHS prospective SAP from AAWSAP people, killed after about six months; AARO says it never received material or money.
  • The claim: UAP Gerb says it was the vehicle for Lockheed's Jim Ryder to pass craft material to AAWSAP, blocked by the CIA. That fits Stratton's memoir and Knapp's version, but the documents don't name Lockheed.

Kona Blue was a 2011 Department of Homeland Security proposal for a special access program, pushed by former AAWSAP people after DIA ended that program. DHS's science chief approved it as a prospective program and the Deputy Secretary killed it six months later. Interviewees told AARO it was meant to protect the retrieval and exploitation of 'non-human biologics'; AARO says nothing was ever transferred. Researcher UAP Gerb says it was built as the vehicle for Lockheed's Jim Ryder to hand UFO material to AAWSAP, and that the CIA stopped it.

It was a technology-transfer vehicle for Lockheed Martin Space Systems VP Jim Ryder to pass specific UFO materials to OSAP; using DHS kept it outside the legacy structure. A Lockheed senior VP relayed the transfer to the CIA's Director of Science and Technology and the agency stopped it. The Lockheed program was materials and metallurgy only; a 'three-letter agency' handed out pieces, not whole craft; engineers weren't told the origin, and little progress had been made by Ryder's death in 2018.80 Years of UFO Crash Retrieval and Reverse Engineering: A TimelinesecondhandSourced, unconfirmedEric W.
