Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution

Private oceanographic research institution on Cape Cod whose deep submersibles, Alvin among them, have long worked for the Navy; the Titanic was found in 1985 on a cover mission to survey two lost nuclear submarines. Christopher Sharp's anonymous sources say its submersibles are used in undersea UAP retrievals, and UAP Gerb ties it into the Navy's USO effort.
