Ask George: the Jellyfish under water, the Lockheed-Bigelow deal and why the secret is kept
George Knapp answers viewer questions put by co-host Ron Futrell. His sources who recorded the Jellyfish say it spent 18 minutes in the water before shooting into the sky, and that the base commander seized the master recorder. He says the UAP Task Force never analysed the video: Stratton and Travis Taylor first saw it when he and Corbell showed it to them. Lockheed's Jim Ryder, whom he named to Congress, negotiated a crash-material transfer to Robert Bigelow until the CIA killed it. He also covers why the secret has been kept, from the Brookings report to the 'demons' view that he says ended OSAP. The personal part of the episode (his mentors Bob Stoldal and Ned Day) is left out.
Overview
- Firsthand: the UAP Task Force never analysed the Jellyfish; Stratton and Taylor first saw it from Knapp and Corbell.
- Secondhand through his sources: the Jellyfish entered the water for 18 minutes and came out, and the commander seized the recorder; the Ryder-to-Bigelow transfer was killed by the CIA.

The object floated silently across the base, which holds a CIA base inside it, unseen by people walking under it; it went into a body of water, stayed there while the camera held on it for 18 minutes, then came out and 'shot off into the sky'.Knapp relays the witnesses who recorded the original video; the underwater part has not been released.secondhandpeople in the base command and control centre who recorded the video → George Knapp (Mystery Wire, Oct 2026) → told itThe 'Jellyfish' over IraqAsk George: the Jellyfish under water, the Lockheed-Bigelow deal and why the secret is kept
After the recording, the base commander came in with armed security and took the master recorder; someone had copied part of it, and that part is what Knapp and Corbell released. The underwater segment is 'probably at CIA'.secondhandpeople in the base command and control centre who recorded the video → George Knapp (Mystery Wire, Oct 2026) → told itThe 'Jellyfish' over IraqCentral Intelligence AgencyAsk George: the Jellyfish under water, the Lockheed-Bigelow deal and why the secret is kept
The government 'has flat out lied' about the video, implying the whole video is 18 minutes long to blur the 18 minutes the object spent under water; the balloon explanations are weak, and slowed down the object moves.Commentary.analysisThe 'Jellyfish' over IraqAsk George: the Jellyfish under water, the Lockheed-Bigelow deal and why the secret is kept
The UAP Task Force never analysed the Jellyfish video: Knapp and Corbell showed it to Jay Stratton and to chief scientist Travis Taylor, the first time either had seen it. Knapp named Lockheed's James Ryder in his congressional testimony, which he believes was the first time Ryder was put on the record in a congressional setting.firsthandJim RyderThe Hellfire video hearingAsk George: the Jellyfish under water, the Lockheed-Bigelow deal and why the secret is kept
Ryder negotiated a transfer of UFO crash material from Lockheed to Robert Bigelow over a long period, with visits both ways (to Skunk Works and to Las Vegas); 'the deal was all set until the CIA found out about it and killed it'.Compare org/kona-blue, where the db's accounts have Ryder's transfer aimed at OSAP (Bigelow's BAASS ran AAWSAP) and stopped by the CIA's science directorate.secondhandunnamed sources → George Knapp (Mystery Wire, Oct 2026) → told itJim RyderRobert BigelowLockheed Martin Skunk WorksCentral Intelligence AgencyKona Blue (DHS prospective SAP, 2011)The Lockheed craft offered to AAWSAPAsk George: the Jellyfish under water, the Lockheed-Bigelow deal and why the secret is kept
The aerospace companies 'do have crash saucers' and did reverse engineering at the government's request; they should tell Congress in closed session and not be punished. China and Russia have some of this technology, and Brazil, Israel and Iran possibly study it.secondhandunnamed sources → George Knapp (Mystery Wire, Oct 2026) → told itLockheed Martin Skunk WorksAsk George: the Jellyfish under water, the Lockheed-Bigelow deal and why the secret is kept
The recovered bodies should at least be shown in photos: there is no race to replicate alien bodies, so it would not threaten national security.Commentary.analysisAsk George: the Jellyfish under water, the Lockheed-Bigelow deal and why the secret is kept
The cover-up was legitimate at first, after World War II and into the Cold War, then became need-to-know, denial, counterintelligence and programmes to deliberately lie to the public; the 1960 Brookings report's call for long-term conditioning 'almost seems like what we've been doing for the last 50 or so years'.Commentary.analysisBrookings Institution report for NASA (1960)Ask George: the Jellyfish under water, the Lockheed-Bigelow deal and why the secret is kept
The belief that the phenomenon is demonic is one reason OSAP was killed and its money taken away: once power brokers in Washington and the Pentagon learned it was under way they said to quit, 'these are demons'.He adds that the vice president and an astronaut have recently called them demons.secondhandunnamed sources → George Knapp (Mystery Wire, Oct 2026) → told itAAWSAP and AATIP: the secret Pentagon studyAsk George: the Jellyfish under water, the Lockheed-Bigelow deal and why the secret is kept
