UAP Gerb profiles MITRE, the federally funded research centre spun out of MIT Lincoln Lab in 1958, and argues that such centres are the missing link that holds and studies recovered material out of reach of FOIA. From MITRE engineers and programme managers he says he vetted over two years, he describes a Navy reverse-engineering programme that has run since 1958 and a long effort to track a huge underwater object near the Bahamas that releases Tic Tac-type craft.
